Arlene Ducao was born slowly in Cockeysville, Maryland, USA, Earth. By day, she works as a 3d animator, production designer, and software scripter/programmer at the American Museum of Natural History and at BioDigital Systems. By night, she is a "creative creature" (so-called by a favorite grownup, Kathy Pierson) whose projects have been shown around the world. She particularly loves modeling bio-molecular forms and data. When the Macintosh debuted in 1984, she used her first computer, and has been hooked ever since. She holds various degrees from the School of Visual Arts and the University of Maryland. She lives near Henry's Bagel Cafe in Brooklyn, NY.
